Hi all.

I just finished making up this brew in my FV.
I have made several Coopers kits so I didn't bother to read the instructions.

I was about to throw out the little instruction slip that comes with every kit when I noticed that it says when you brew pilsener you should do it at a lower temperature ie around 21 degrees - mine was at about 26.

So....have I killed it?

Cheers in advance.

It should be ok, but I've heard they can be a little fruity if they're done too hot rather than being clean and fresh tasting.

that kit comes with a lager yeast, so if not fermented at/below 12c or so it may well come out slightly different to the makers intention :)

enjoy it anyway though eh? :)

Read this thread with interest... I had a Black Rock pilsner kit that I fermented out, sampled and kegged last weekend...... Tasted distinctly fruity and quite sweet... Might have over done the priming sugar (will the resulting sweetness disappear over time guys?) and will the fruitiness also disapate?
Cheers people!!!!
