I have removed several trolling posts this morning if you have something on topic to say fine everything else will be removed with no explanation.
Good work, thanks. Seemingly though you don't know the difference between flippancy and trolling.

Its sometimes difficult to tell especially when posts don't include smilies so if it looks like trolling or its likely to cause more of the same its best gone.

May i also draw your attention to the part of my earlier post below it would seem you don't know the difference between on topic and everything else!

It was a direct response to the conspiracy posts which are presumably on-topic as they're still here.

Posting a picture of someone using YouTube with the word "I'm a resurcher" under it was not going to help in a thread where members with opposing views have alread fallen out, you call it flippent I call it trolling.

To all you conspriacy theorists and Trump supporters, remember this: Trump did not win by eliciting a larger proportion of the popular vote, he won the votes of the electoral colleges.

Those of you calling Biden President Rigor Mortis or the Dead President, think on this: if he has even an ounce of moral fibre or humanity more than Trump he will be a better President. Can you honestly look in the mirror and tell yourself he is a fine upstanding member of the human race?

Those of you who think Biden is a socialist, remember this: Biden is not a socialist. I doubt he's even left of centre. I have more chance of becoming Prime Minister than a socialist does of becoming US President. One thing and one thing only matters in US politics and it stinks. That one thing is money. Having money, the aquisition of money, having more money than anyone else and how much you have to give to one person's campaign to keep what you have and aquire even more. The only person in US politics approaching anything near socialiam the majority of people in the UK have heard of is Bernie Sanders.

I found this on Y Tube and thoroughly enjoyed it. A very rare example of David beating Goliath with very little funds. As BH alluded to it appears only the rich make it to the top in American politics - the whole system stinks

Of course Joe Biden isn't a socialist, neither was Obama or Clinton, only socialists believe they were. Far better to run under the guise of being a socialist if you want to make money. You have to be either mad or both to believe that a democrat president or labour prime minister is there solely to look out for the well being of the working man. :laugh8:
They are there to feather there own nests, not look after any one else's interests.

Only a socialist would believe Obama or Clinton were socialists? Um, no, they wouldn't. I don't believe they were. Many Trump supporters probably do because Trump and his machine told them so. Nor do I believe any British Prime Minster in living memory was.

Terrible argument. You need to try harder.

Not a terrible argument, you proved it yourself, if half the voting population believed that Trump and his machine told them so, then surely all thing being equal the other half would believe what Joe Biden told them. Or are socialists deemed to be less gullible.:laugh8:

“They are there to feather there(sic) own nests.”

Haha, as if the current UK government has the well-being of the working man at heart. As I’ve said before, not for nothing is Johnson’s crowd known as a chumocracy. Look at the fiasco around the contracts given out for PPE manufacture and supply. Or the Cummings affair and the way that Johnson and others stood up for him after his ridiculous eyesight test claim. If that doesn’t show contempt for ordinary working people, I don’t know what does.

The only people claiming they are socialists are the republicans, who don't actually believe it.
It's a constant republican thing, just like claiming the democrats are going to take away everyone's guns. Amazingly of Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton, and Obama NONE of them ever came after anyone's guns.

Taking away guns, that would be political suicide, Obama never had the backing after that school massacre you had in America.
Different to here after the Port Arthur massacre, swift decision made to ban all assault weapons and government ran a buy back. Can't for the life of me understand why anyone would need an assault rifle, in any country.

Don't for one minute believe 'chumocracy' is just for the Tory party works both ways, just recently a $30million contract was given to a security firm by the labor government of Victoria, after it went **** up, even with a judicial inquiry no one was found who actually gave out the contract.

while we have the public school system in this country nothing will change. Same factory's making the same product. The only way to change it would be to take out an entire generation of them.
just saying
What I don't get is why the English working and middle classes vote for ex Etonians
Going to be interesting up here over the next 5 years.

Americans have been programmed since birth that socialists are at best un american and at worst enemies of the american way of life
Wonder how they will handle being overtaken by China as the worlds biggest economy.
Christ the don't even make jeans anymore

Not much humanity in the school statement "take out an entire generation" statement. Sweeping characterisation. at best

Like categorising "the working man" what does that mean, everyone who works or everyone who is working but struggling to make ends meet? Or is that another way of saying working class man? What does that mean?

As a scumbag from a 70s housing scheme in a city that Britain wanted to forget to me it means

working class = any one who earns less than £40,000 a year
middle class = any one who earns from £40,000 a year to £100,000 a year
above that don't know anyone personally
above £200,000 a year mmmm should anyone be earning that? Not in a society that values morals.

the sad part of our society are the souls that survive on less than £20,000, would hate to be back there again.
The point still stands, Britain has been ruled by old Etonians for hundreds of years
How do you change it?
Close the public schools and take out a generation or two of people being taught they are born to rule as their right?
well that would be a start.
More difficult is how to break the mindset of "the masses" (south of the boarder) that believe its only these people that can rule.

I remember watching an interview on the BBC where a guy from yorkshire (who was on benifits) was asked why he voted tory. He replied it was because he was sharing a flat and by voting tory he would be given his own place. WTF????

Back on topic, who believes the new US president is going to give the UK a favourable trade deal?
And if they do, how do you think the UK will F**k it up?

Will trumps departure signal the end of the great deals at Trump Turnberry? (very dog friendly by the by)

Born to rule is drummed into them both at Eaton and at home,Believe me i know.

It is a combination of inherited wealth and the Eaton-ion old boy network that does it.

Talent and or hard work just does not come into it.

Many lower class entrepreneurs who have made it to the top, well if you read their autobiography's you will more often than not find it a case of luck and being in the right time and place.

Of course there is the very, rare exception and it is rare.
