Its a great idea Dave, not for me tho - I have my hands full at the moment, well not actualy at the moment as i'm on the laptop. But you know what I mean.

Come on THBF wine makers, sounds like DS is setting you a challenge!

:thumb:

Right if i can get enough people interested ill post a poll, (with the help of the admin staff that is) you will vote on the type of wine to be made. and the ingredient to be used. Then as with the forum beer brew you will send other members one of you bottles to sample.

Talking of which, did you get the bottle of my PRIZE WINNING WHITE WINE i left you at MATCHLESS, or did emmlex drink them both :D

YES

please? Let's go let's go!

How about a fruit that's ripe in the next two months (what is there other than oranges though?), or, a medium dry white, 55% chardonnay (cheap and easy to get hold of), 45% whatever, SB9 yeast (or yeast of choice)?

OK a couple of more sugestion on what type and a bit of more interest and ill set up the poll.

Well I'm up for it, but options could be limited.

If you want something good and quick (and cheapish) it can only really be a Wurzel, but it could be good to ‘spread the word’.

If you're looking at seasonal ingredients, everything has pretty much finished now. Parsnips are plentiful, but does anyone want to wait 12 months for the results?

As an aside, my first garden parsnips will come up this weekend and grace the plates of Chez Wez, some honey dirizzlege may be in order, the rest are staying in the ground for the frost ;) then we'll av em.

Parsnip wine  Wurz gets my vote. Or, essentially a wurz is meant to be a med dry white wine (?) So how about a med dry white wine?
