First time racking - advice needed PLEASE!

Hi all

As above I'm racking off California Connoisseur - Pinot Noir 5 gallon. I'm about to do the first rack off after 8 days. Now from the instructions I can't make out if I need to seal the bucket with a bung or replace the air lock. I'm more than likely just being thick.

Just replace the air lock :)

Yes, I always use a lock, even on stuff that I believe to be finished and stabilised - just in case.

just done mine yesterday and just replaced the airlock.
