Elvis Juice

Hi Guys

Brewed an Elvis Juice clone, turned out pretty well so I wanted to share my experience.

Recipe was straight from DIY Dog, slight variation was a 60 min mash at 67C and the use of 2 packs of US-05.

Zest of 3 grapefruit was added at 10 mins before end of boil.

Just the right amount of grapefruit flavour as far as I’m concerned.

The poor clarity is down to a rushed cold crash - I was desperate to try it before heading away to work offshore.

Looking good! Brew dog encourages this kind of experimentation with their recipes by doing stuff like purposely not putting exact times on their hop additions. I dont think i've ever had Elvis Juice though

I would defo want to give that a try at some point! Elvis Juice is EPIC! Not great if you have a bit too many though

It’s my personal favorite BrewDog beer, for now anyway. I’ve entered this into the July HBF comp, so should find out today if others like the recipe as much as I do.

I never look at this stuff ' but I have had the punk ipa which I liked' picked this up earlier wow just wow what I beer will be getting more of this
