Do you live where your partner was from?

How many of us now live in the area where our better halves are from?
I would imagine that a lot of people, particularly blokes, now live in their other halves village/town/city. That's been my experience and I'm continually reminded of it by my mum!

My wife and I met at school, so yeah. We live in the same “suburb” of Dundee as my wife did when we first started going out (I lived in the next one along).

We spent 4 years living in the house she lived in between the ages of 15 and 21 because we bought my in-laws house in 2014.

Met The Wise One in Blighty, where she had spent most of her life. Decided to move to France* and ended up in an adjacent département to where she hails from so I guess the answer is yes.
She speaks better English than wot I do and most of you lot, too, in fact, but her Yorkshire's a bit naff and she struggles with glaswegian and scouse.

We live 10 miles or so from her Mum & Dad, because SWMBO would have trusted no-one else but her Mum to help bringing up the kids.
This could be quite a common situation, I feel.

My wife and I were born a few miles apart, Exeter and Sidmouth, but we didn't meet until we were both living in London, 21 years later.
We now live in Cardiff.
