At the end of my first fermentation, this is what I saw:
Could it possibly be safe to drink the results of the second brewing?
I made three previous sets of bottles with the same Scoby, and never saw anything like that.
I went ahead with the second brewing, but I'm not planning to drink any of it unless someone can identify what's in the picture and convince me that the Kombucha would be safe.
