woke up to this.
the first Scoby is knacked!

we live and learn.
doesn’t help the faff on with temp control.
Too low of temp and the starter never got to get to acid stage.
At least my cleaning and sanitising was on the ball as usual.
i (we ) all can learn from this, doesn’t matter a small batch or big. shows that yeast/bacteria is like a small baby! if not kept in a comfortable environment & fed one of the factors with mess up!
RIGHT not getting hung on it.
i could of just not told yous, but you know me warts and all.
back to plan A.
we know the second scoby was healthy and a good starter.
the temp control was fixed.
So lady and gents, me thinks a one litre batch coming in a few days.
