random question- could be totally barking up the wrong tree

Could I condition some of a porter or stout or something in an empty whiskey bottle?

If I kept it out of the light (cos the one that gave me the idea is clear) would the corked top push out with the pressure before the bottle smashed?

also, would it add any flavour? I know it still smells of whiskey, but would the glass have any flavour to give?

thoughts?

No, whisky bottles are not designed to take any significant pressure so you don't want to put your beer anywhere near it.

If you use a cork you will be surprised at how little pressure it required to push the cork out so you are just going to waste the beer.
