Yes, but you can't put something like a IEC C19 socket, rated 15 amp. Directly on a 32A fused ring. Outlets on any circuits, such as a 32A ring, must use connectors, fused if necessary, so they can't be overloaded. eg by using 13A fused plug.

In NZ and Aus, there's a separate plug for 15A devices.
Rest of the house sockets rated for 10A and can fit in the 15A socket but not vice versa.
The plugs aren't as good as UK plugs though.

I only whirlpool during hop stand to keep the hops in suspension and when chilling to maximise wort contact with the coil.

No. The BZ 65 litre isn't fitted with a 13A plug, because it needs more than 13 Amp, and would just keep blowing a 13A fuse.

Reason you can't have a 15A unused outlet on a 32A circuit, is because the regs require correct outlets, to prevent danger, if circuits are overloaded.
A 16A MCB, might be used on circuits where there's a 15A unfused connector outlet. So a short circuit, or overload, would cause a safe trip. Rather than risk starting a fire, if that connector was wired into a 32A MCB circuit.

I'm waiting on a brewing ingredients delivery and I just checked over the invoice and realised that I wasn't paying attention when filling the basket to get over the free postage line and ordered a load of whole leaf hops rather than pellets.

I've never used them and although it seems like they should be generally easier for an AIO to deal with I was just wondering if anyone had experiences/warnings about using them with the BZ Gen 4.

I always use leaf hops, but have them in a hop spider to keep them from sticking to the bottom or clogging the bazooka filter. Easier to clean up afterwards too.

If you don't have a hop spider, use a fine mesh bag.

I've used some whole leaf hops in my last two batches in the brewzilla gen 4 , I didn't use a hop spider or a hop bag.
I just left them to settle after the boil and they formed a nice filter bed.

If it's total water, then no. The only reason to consider it is when calculating mash water as it is in effect dead space then.

Think I will give full volume mashing a try in the brewzilla (back to proper BIAB) , I do take dead space into account when sparging but given that I recirculate thought the mash is it really 'dead space'....

No need to consider dead space.
But depending on your batch size and grain bill you may not get the full amount of water in at the start.
If you use the brewfather app make a copy of the existing Brewzilla G4 equipment profile then edit it for no sparge. Include grain volume in mash limits. and set the Max to what you are comfortable with. and it will calculate if you need to top up in the boil.

The way I look at it (I don't recirculate, but I do lauter) is the strike water will need to include the dead space, otherwise the mash will be drier than intended. My dead space is about 4 litres, so that's the mash water for 1.5Kg+ of grain that's sitting below the grain.

If you're doing a full volume mash you would also have more water above the grain than you would normally use for sparging to account for boil off during the boil.
That would balance what you've got in your so-called dead space.
