I've put together a ready reckoner for BJCP competitions for 2024.

Hopefully this will help others ensure they are registering, brewing, bottling, and posting in time.

*I think the registration end date for LTL is incorrect, but will likely not go anywhere near that date before all entries are filled/paid for.

I think that is everything which has been announced and the websites are open so far, but let me know if I've missed any.

Otherwise, I will update the table as and when new competitions are announced.

Updated/corrected table below.

Could a kindly mod swap this for the table in the OP?

Huh... I've tried registering on my computer and then my phone but both times I get 403 Error, Action Forbidden ☹️

Just checking, the page looks very similar to the Scottish National Homebrew Competition one, but it's completely different, right, so I *do* need to re-register?
The page looks similar as it is based on the same competition management software platform.

However you need to register separately for each competition.

AHA! This might be a clue! (have emailed them)

Got a response late last night, they think it's actually a different problem but have assured me I'll be able to enter.

While I'm waiting, I can't remember from the Scottish comp, or whether this one is similar - when you register do you have to decide pretty much what style(s) you're going to enter our can you leave it closer to the time?

Reason being is I'd lean more towards entering whatever I've brewed lately, rather than having to commit myself now to brewing something 2-3 months from now on time for May.

You'll have some time to amend your entry later down the line. They will send comms in advance of "locking down" the comp site. This is usually before the shipping window opens.

Tracker updated. @Chippy_Tea, please could you replace the table in my OP with the following one?

It's past the entry date but not the submission date, so it's maybe one more for next year, but the SIBA homebrew comp has to be submitted by Friday so that it can be judged at BeerX in a couple of weeks. It's effectively some recipe development for Bundobust, so it has to be 25% wheat and made with Lallemand Wit :

You may have missed it but the Welsh National was announced on FB a few days ago....judging date is Saturday 14th September.

Comp website not opened up yet.

Thanks, @nickjdavis. Have added to list and will update when more info available. Are ACB planning anything this year?
Yes...we are trying to identify a date that doesnt clash with East Anglian brides wanting to get married...they seem to have a monopoly on booking suitable venues!!! :laugh8:

Looking likely to be later in the year.
