Has anybody attempted this before?

The idea is to have a beer engine on a worktop on display but with the reservoir kept cool inside the fridge.

I’ve got a few ideas using 9L kegs. I much prefer this style of serving now.

No, but you know I am waiving this real close.

Is this as simple as build the worktop and the box to fit the pump on (with enough room for a glass) and then "no nails" onto the top of a fridge?

I wouldn't glue it on. The weight alone should be enough to hold it in place. It's not as though you'll be swinging... Oh right, maybe you should nail it on. 🤣
