I haven't been keeping up with the posts lately and missed this  Fantastic work mate, well done

That looks savage , fair play excellent build and very neat with pipe work , i am finding with tubing that you will always get dripping wort water when switching between hlt to mash tun to boiler to plate exchanger etc.

New hop filter for the HERMS system copper, old one was causing a problem with thick stouts.

Hi Steve,
Some SS tubing we had at work, cut on mechanical saw and reduced diameter to give a snug fit over the gauze.

Too true Tony, us brewers are all compulsive tweakers ;) I wonder if anyone has ever completed and said "that's it done" ... :hmm: :hmm:

That looks like a good un BB.

Now all you need is a Pot beer engine handle screwed on the end and it will double as a Kosh for protecting the shed ;)

Only Joking don't go braining anybody with it

Sean, word of warning, don't take one persons diameter as a 'solid' for yours.
My TB has up to 3mm difference in diameter, depending on where you measure
you need to take an average :thumb:

Cheers :thumb:

I'm at a loose end and eager so thought I'd make a start on my false bottom, best leave it then, drilling a few hundred holes can always wait :D
