Me also please. I do have an extraction unit ready to go in but your vented system makes better sense.

Hole was quite easy to do, I bought an half decent jig saw blade for metal and cut it out slowly then smoothed the edges with emery cloth. :thumb:Frisp said:Crackin.... Now I see what you have done... Nice work... How did you cut the hole in the mixing bowl... I can see me making a plastic version as Stainless could be difficult to cut such a nice hole.
If I'm honest I did it at work using a sonic grinding tool.Springer said:Yes I like this BB, it looks easier than a hood and extractor, I need to do something. :?
Thing about working stainless is to cut it and not just rub it, producing heat and work hardening it. Emmery cloth BB, you must have files in the industrial north.

The extraction works great, just make sure you create a dip in the pipe when brewing to collect the condensate..

No fan, it's just the heat that takes the steam away..Ridley said:The extraction works great, just make sure you create a dip in the pipe when brewing to collect the condensate..

What sort of fan do you use for the extraction? I only ask as there is an awful lot of moisture to shift so presumable it has to be waterproof?

That looks fantastic.
Lovely to have a piece of kit that not only does the biz but also looks the DBs.
You can see the passion in it.
It's a work of art.
Cheers
