Just been reading the paper about the Facebook floatation  And they keep saying there's no money knocking about. :? :?

Wonder if Bono will be giving his profits away to foreign causes he keeps harping on about when he's due to release a new album? I doubt it.

There's a very good reason Bono doesn't give away his vast profits to said peoples and that is because he's a cun....... ;)

Do you want to borrow a 'T' ;)

Thought Bono gave a percentage of his earnings to the One foundation :wha:

The thing is with this Facebook float, what do they produce? nowt. They will have to start making some kind of charge for using it. Where are they going to make a profit? for the folks who have shares. I know they get monies from adds and the like, games but that won't last forever. I read the other day that they were going to charge for something or other. I dropped my page last year, if a lot of folks do the same, where will they be? up the creek without the proverbial.

I don't have any FB shares but I know somebody who does - dunno how many though.
What's probably going to happen is they'll make the ads unfilterable by AdBlock etc, and start selling on all that data they accumulated on their users.
One or two peeps I know have already started jokingly saying it's time to start using their Google+ accounts properly.
