2 new beers in Aldi for £2.99 a bottle. The beer is okay, but thought people might be interested in the rather heavy duty black glass bottles at 750ml. one is a Rhum Finish and the other is a Dry Hopped.

Nope. They need a cork and cage. Look at the top of the photo. Shouldn't be a problem, it's my preferred bottle if I'm laying down anything decent.

I don't think so. The lip on the top is stupidly thick.

Dunno, then. But some 75cl bottles won't take a crown cap.

The dry hopped was alright, nothing to sing home about but I just love the bottles... especially as the labels were so easy to peel off. Might get a few more and cork a few bottles of a big impy, would seem right for the bottle style.

If the labels are easy to remove,The bottles may be worth checking out just for that reason

If you cork surely you need to cage .
