I'm tempted by this too, saving for a grainfather but could get this now. Like the idea of the counter flow chiller and app control with the grainfather though.

I'm pretty good but lazy. Like the app control too. I think I would regret not getting the grainfather it looks better made. Although the ace looks like a great bit of kit

Do what I did I when I got my Grainfather. Just go and buy it but don't tell her til she notices this big shiny thing amongst your other brew stuff.
Oh, and be a little economical with the truth when you tell her how much it actually cost. I hope she doesn't read this forum. :whistle:
