2 can brew kit

just found a 2 can brew kit at the back of my garage, it is however 6 months out of date, is this worth brewing or not? I mean how does it go out of date in a tin

people on the forum have brewed kits that were years over their use by date and the came out great.

Tins will be fine but the yeast may not be

Yeast will be adequate too. I've pitched four year old dry yeast with no problem. Do have a spare handy just in case.
