    Youngs definitive bitter

Once the primary fementation is complete, transfer the beer to a secondy. Put about 20grams of CASCADE into a hop sock or muslin bag and leave it for between 5 - 7 days. Then bottle.

    Youngs definitive bitter

NBA bottles will be ok to use, just make sure you keep them somewhere dark. So the light cant get to them. But personly i would get yourself down to you local pub and ask them for there empty MAGNERS bottles.

Fermenting - how long is too long?

Welcome to the forum Josh I tend to leave all my brews in the FV for around 14 Days, then move to a secondry for another 5 - 7 days and then bottle / keg. Its safe to bottle after about 7 -8 days, or when you get the same hydrometer reading for 3 days running.
  18. corby_brewer

    how long for clear beer?

Try to get it somewhere where the temperature is around 16oC, then i would give it around 4 - 5 weeks before its clear.
