    CO2 prices in your areas?

Looks to me as if you DID suggest I stole it. Notwithstanding, I still say you're getting ripped off in Britain, if you look at the prices...

Guess you're in Spain- whereabouts? Have you tried the Petrichor, from Nomad Brewery? (Available from the Mahou webshop). I think it's the best commercial brew I've found here....

    Problem with ferment

Hi all, happy Thursday! I knocked up a Mangrove Jack Juicy IPA kit yesterday, here in Spain, but as the weather is so hot, it took ages (about 6 hrs) to get to pitching temperature, by which time the foamy head had collapsed and the wort was flat. I now realise I should've re aerated it, but...

Can't imagine anything worse!! (7 years on a match, not nice pale ale..!!!) And I LOVE boats, but a couple of hours afloat is enough for me!!

...purchase of a Brewster Beacon from Cocinista, a Spanish cooking site that do loads of home brew stuff.... Also discovered Petrichor, by Nomada Brewery, superb bottled ipa- gluten free, and delicious!! Available through San Miguel/Mahou webshop, best beer I've found in Spain so far!!

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

I've found that it makes an ok beer shandy with the Mahou IPA, in the multicoloured tins. The hop flavour is very artificial, I find.... Hence my purchase of a

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

The best I've found (SO far) here on Spain- from the Mahou webshop, of all places!! Very refreshing, flavoursome pale, from independent Nomads Brewery!! 12 bottles ain't gonna last long, but I've just kegged my first (kit) brew, MJ's Kviek, and it smells very romising. Give it a few bursts of...

    CO2 prices in your areas?

Didn't steal it, was given it.... £20=€23, so assuming yours is a 6?35kg bottle, that's €3.62/kg. Mines 12kg, so €2.5/kg....

    CO2 prices in your areas?

Just for comparison, here in Spain I've just blagged an empty bottle from a bar that was closing down, and my "local" bar got it refilled for €30..... For 12kg..... Rip-off Britain, all the way.....

    Brewster Beacon

Just got my Beacon here in Spain, and the design seems to have changed. There is no false bottom under the malt pipe- unless it's missing on mine- just the "tea strainer" on the pump inlet. As the malt pipe will be our for the boil, there's nothing to lift and affect the boil, or am I...

    Suggested Water Profiles by Style

Thanks for that. Tried it, but although it gives me "difference" values, it doesn't put metrics into the additional salts values...??
