What kit did you start off with?????

It was a Sarah's bitter dry malt kit around 1985. Not a bad pint if I remember correctly. Never seen one since though. BZ

    crystal malt

Hi, The 60L or 80L refers to the Lovibond or colour that the crystal malt will provide. 80L will create a darker colour than 60L. Roasted Barley will have a lovibond of something like 300L. The highest Lovibond being around 600L. BZ

Has anyone been on a Brewlabs course?

My aim is to get My breweries designed such that anyone attending a Brewlab course will be able to purchase one of Mine and continue either homebrewing on a larger scale or using it as a pilot brewery. I've had a customer or two who don't want to dilute in the boiler to achieve the 82L...

    cornelius keg questions

You should be able to pick up a corelius keg, dalex tap and 3/16" to 3/8" adaptors and 3/16" tubing for around the £60.00 mark. You would need a regulator and co2 pub gas type bottle if You wish to force carbonate. This will set You back another £35.00 for the regulator and whatever price...

Cheers for that vossy! I should expect 85L to drop by 6.8 deg c per hour with a twin coil setup. That should mean that from a Fermentation temp of say 20 deg c I can expect it to drop to around 6 deg c in two hours. That will let Me sleep a little more easily tonight.

    Brewzones 100L brewery pics.

As You know I normally double the HLT as a fermenter but I've been asked to provide a dedicated fermenter for the latest project. I've searched high and low for a fitting to do what I wanted so went with the setup below. The point which the product coils pass through the pot wall will be above...
