Hi, The 60L or 80L refers to the Lovibond or colour that the crystal malt will provide. 80L will create a darker colour than 60L. Roasted Barley will have a lovibond of something like 300L. The highest Lovibond being around 600L. BZ

You should be able to pick up a corelius keg, dalex tap and 3/16" to 3/8" adaptors and 3/16" tubing for around the £60.00 mark. You would need a regulator and co2 pub gas type bottle if You wish to force carbonate. This will set You back another £35.00 for the regulator and whatever price...

Hi Prolix, Seeing as it was Me who sold you the pump the least I can do is offer you My experience with the speck my2-8000 pumps I've used so far. On full power they really can shift 5 gallons a minute assuming no restrictions on the input/output sides of the pump. They can be throttled down...

Cheers for that vossy! I should expect 85L to drop by 6.8 deg c per hour with a twin coil setup. That should mean that from a Fermentation temp of say 20 deg c I can expect it to drop to around 6 deg c in two hours. That will let Me sleep a little more easily tonight. :cheers:
