    Thanks for the reply. I think my hydrometer is ok but i will check it. and the temp of the brew is around 19c as its in the kitchen.

    Hi ive been trying to find a jg fitting to fit my nitrogen regulator but i can't find the correct size Am i measuring it wrong? Take a look at these pics and see what you guys think.

    Hi ive started drinking from my cornie and i need to know. When the correct level of carbonation is aquired do you then leave the keg under just serving pressure or when youve finished serving do you put around 20psi back on each time? And also can i leave the gas connected all the time or...

    Ok so i got my co2 system set up for my lager and i have put 20psi in the corny.Its been sitting in the shed now for a couple of weeks so decided to try some and it was'nt to bad but needs more carbonation so i stuck another 20psi on it and gonna leave it a couple more weeks.     I didn'nt use the finings and its been bottled for about two weeks now so i decided to try a bottle last night.I cannot beleave the difference in taste! This batch has much more flavour than the first batch and the only difference was not adding the finings so i don't think i'll be using them in...

    I started a Muntons Premium Irish Stout 12 days ago and has been fermenting well checked the gravity over the last 3 days and its 1.012 but i think its stuck as the destructions say it should be 1.008 but i did use 500g spraymalt 500g brewing suger. Would this make a difference? :wha:

    Maybe the shed is a bit to cool for the priming suger to ferment? Dont quote me on this as im quite new to brewing but as i understand it after you bottle you have to store them in a warm place for at least a couple of days for the priming suger to ferment and then move to a cool place for...

    Well it tasts ok so tomorrow ill do what moley says and use a stocking.transfer to corney store it and hope for the best. I brewed an edme lager today anyway and i have 2 stouts on the go to so at least ill have more to drink :drink: Thanks for the replys guys :thumb:
