I must be a fan of Mosaic hops as this is very nice.

Bottled 28 long necks of Bass clone, really shouldn't have. I was in two minds whether to tip or bottle. I have never had a beer come out of cold crash cloudy, I think the thermowell may be the culprit it was clear going in. Going to give it a few days and open a bottle, though it tasted alright whatever has infected it hasn't been able to work in 0 degrees C.

Last couple of pints of Pacific ale, have really enjoyed this batch and will brew again with a change in the timing of hop additions.

Poes Boston bitter, something on the to brew again list, again will play around with the hops.

Lacing clings like tish to a blanket.

Pacific looks good.

This is the Sussex old ale from the new Modern Homebrewer book. I don’t think the recipe is great, it’s a bit of a mess of crystal and not delivering a lot of flavour. I have put it on a 5psi secondary regulator and an unrestricted short line direct to tap though which is working well and will suit future cask-like beers.

An accidental starter of my CADB blend.
Rather chilly, so condensed up immediately I walked into the kitchen from the garage.
Still rich and tasty though.

The bargain-priced Madiran for SWMBO'Ds tipple b4 dinner of pot-roast beef.

This was what I had intended as my preprandial, the Westerham Spirit of Kent.
Palate cleansing, as it does not have the richness (gravity) of my homebrews so tastes more bitter.

I am slowly comeing round to the fact that simple is best and if I want a fancy beer it is best to buy it, I understand the hobby is to push your self but why waste pounds on ingredients for failure, this brew is so simple pale malt, biscuit, roasted barley, target, ekg and jester and it is bloody fantastic and will get better

This one is @Nottsbeer black ipa, drunk while cooking the tea. A lovely drop, just the right balance between hop and dark malt, I like the hops that were used, im going to guess that chinook might be in there? Looks great, jet black, clear and perfectly carbed. Thanks for sending, I'd be very happy drinking this all night.

Sounds good rod, did you use the jester in late boil or whirlpool?
