Youngs Lager Kit

I have a youngs lager kit, what can i do to make it into a decent lager

Dif Yeast?
Hop tea?
Steep some malts?

Does anybody have any ideas

Im actually brewing this one myself at the moment, its had 5 days in the FV

I brewed it short to 20litres, 500g of Extra Light DME, a 453g tin of Golden Syrup and did a hop tea with 50g of Amarillo Hops.

Ditched the packet yeast and pitched some Saflager S-23 yeast

Smells fantastic

Ive done this kit a while ago.I did a topaz hop tea and added 500g light spray malt.Not a bad kit,fairly tasty.
