Hello all,
I would expect the wort gravity to increase during the boil, as the evaporation leaves a higher concentration of sugars behind. But last night it didn't work out like that :wha:
I started with 11 litres at 1043 and ended-up with 9 litres also at 1043. The volume loss is in line with what I read on previous threads here (I did quite a long boil). But I thought the final gravity should have been higher.
Either I messed up reading the final gravity or I am wrong to think that the wort gravity should increase.
Any thoughts?
