Bought this kit and followed given instructions, it has been in the fermenting bin for eight days at a constant temp of 22f but has failed to ferment !! what do I do to get it to ferment ? I have made this kit before exactly the same way with no issues HELP PLEASE asad1acheers.

^This. Did you take a hydrometer reading before pitching the yeast and what is the current reading?

If the temperature has been in the viable range (which would include 22C) and fermentation has not taken place then maybe one of the following occurred:

1) You forgot to add the yeast
2) The wort was too hot when you added the yeast and killed it
3) The yeast was duff for some other reason
 
If it's reading 1.010 then it has definitely fermented and is other done or not far off it. If it tasted very sweet you'd have concerns, the sharpness might just be because it is young and could well mellow out during conditioning. Also no harm in leaving it in the fermenter for another 5-6 days to let the yeast clean up, this might also help with the taste.

Those readings seem quite normal. What made you think that it had failed to ferment?

I think I thought that because no bubbles were going through the airlock and head of the beer had nor changed and looking quite flat absolutely no activity at all ! I know the airlock was sealed and the lid was also air tight so this totally confused me :laugh8:
 
I suspect your fermenter is leaking air, if the SG has dropped and the sweetness has gone then it has fermented, so there was a lot of CO2 produced, and if it didn't go through the airlock it must have escaped some other way.

I'd check it and reseal now, as if it is nearly fermented out then there will be less CO2 coming out, so air will possibly be able to get in and cause problems..
