you've got some double brackets there, however I'm not able to sort, but am a big fan of Willamette

Now look what you've done - So what if this party fears two? The alcohol loves you while turning you blue. View it from here. From closer to near. Awake me!

The beer is a take on Redhook ESB, but I upped the hops a little as they were 2011 harvest. Was planning to dry hop with the pair, but may use something fresher. Perhaps some cascade.

A blackcurrantiness? I just rember them being integral to the taste of Redhook ESB before AB bought them out.

I've been sampling this on occasion from about 2 weeks post-bottling (mid June). The first few bottles I wasn't all that impressed by, it is nothing like intended, I shouldn't have messed with the recipe I had (next time no CaraMunich III and use fresher hops - these were 2011 harvest). I left it alone for most of the summer and during that time it has really come together and is now a very enjoyable drop. Tastes like a strong bitter in a Riggwelter/Snecklifter kind of way and is getting some really complex flavours coming through. I will be enjoying this over the colder months. I'm not sure I would set out to brew this recipe again, but it adds something different to my stocks, so a success I think.
