Wilko's Christmas booze run 🍻

Went in Wilko's today and picked up my Christmas booze .

Will done the ipa short 20/21 litres, as it's a 1.5kg can.
It come with 10g first gold hop pellets to dry hop. Will use light DME and 500g/750g dextrose.

The Thirsty Devil comes with 10g cascade hop pellets will use medium DME and 500g/750g dextrose.

Will just go with the amount of hops they came with as first time doing these kits.

Are they the correct hops for the styles ?

I've done the winters ale with a few tweaks. couldn't get that much with the spiced apple, but then I like everything turned up to 11 Should be just right for xmas.

Will the 6g of yeast they came with be OK ?

as i picked my basket up , the tanoy said "this store is closing in 5 minuets"

I have the Thirsty Devil kit which I'd like to be done for Christmas. Never done any of the Wilko kits before.

I always use a packet of gervin with wilko kit and save the 6g packets or use 2 of them in one brew

And/or use some of the trub from a previous brew if you are brewing in succession. I've been using up to three generations for some time now, but dont keep the yeast for more than two weeks in the fridge..

I’ve just opened the bag from my £50 yeast shopping trip..... the white tube of Wilco wine yeast , turned out to be pectolase
