You can get "oxi" from BM bargain...look for the pink tub of Astonish...2kg for £3...

+1 for the Wilko turkey baster for taking a sample...BUT,don't leave it all in your bucket of sanitiser as it will eventually ruin the rubber bulb...the acrylic bit will be fine though.

Get a couple tubs of Wilko oxi laundry cleaner while you are at it. Cheap as chips and unscented. I swear by it.

My turkey baster was great for about 2 weeks and then the top fell off. If anyone is thinking of buying one i'd invest in a good one that is glued properly or even better a moulded one that won't fall to bits ha ha!

I think that it's 1/4 of one of the provided measuring 'spoon' per litre of water for general cleaning. Always found that to work well

Sorry can't check as I've run out, and the closest Wilko is in the next town and I've no 'essential' reason to go. I'd guess it's about 2 tablespoons sized 'measuring spoon'
