Brewed an American IPA with citra hops today. If it tastes as good as it smells, it'll be great!

No brewing this weekend for me. Fermenter is tied up with my Irish Red Ale from last weekend!
I will be giving my priming sugar experiment its first tasting after 2 weeks conditioning later today mind you!

Cheers
DA

I didn't manage both brews as I was called in to work. :(
Do you not tell them you had something more important to do?

What? Really?

Calum's brewing two weekends on the trot???

:D

But the question is wheat or lager...

I'm thinking wheat this weekend then lager in a couple of weeks by which time I might have a fridge sorted to do it properly.

Not hardcore like most of you but i'll be keging my Wherry and getting the Sundew on the go straight after!

Going for an Everards Tiger tomorrow, then first testings of my TT landlord and OSH tomorrow night!

Maxi BIAB - Should get 19L based on my previous brews so far.

The Fermentables Bill

83.1% Pale Malt (2.8 SRM = 5.5 EBC) 2935 grams = 6.47 pounds
0.3% Black Malt (609 SRM = 1199.7 EBC) 10 grams = 0.02 pounds
8.7% Crystal Malt (61 SRM = 39.4 EBC) 308 grams = 0.68 pounds
4.9% white sugar 172 grams = 0.38 pounds
3% Torrified Wheat (1.7 SRM = 3.3 EBC) 104 grams = 0.23 pounds

The Hop Bill
22.5 IBU Challenger (5.5%AA) 35.1 grams = 1.237 ounces at 90 mins
2.4 IBU Fuggles (5.5%AA) 11.2 grams = 0.396 ounces at 10 mins

Going to brew Saturday, not sure what but probably a standard bitte. If any good will enter in the spring thing comp.

in from work, got the house to myself for the weekend and was thinking of sticking on a mash, doing all the sparging tonight and then boiling tomorrow morning before I go to the match. dunno if I can be bothered, I want to but dunno if I can be bothered with all the cleaning up :D . I'm off next Friday and will be brewing so its sort of making me think I shouldn't bother tonight. I was planning a black IPA.hmmmm I need some convincing.

No brewing for today but my empties stash needed fixing.
