Hi All
I have a bunch of these white drum taps that I brought back from Australia.

The fermentors they go with have 3/4 inch crew thread that they screw into. I want to use them with a standard fermentor bucket I have picked up from Wilkos, but I have nothing to bolt it to the fermentor with. Does anyone know where I can buy a couple of plastic bolts so I screw it to the fermentor bucket.

Cheers

Neil

if for a fermentor i would use SS before brass. afaik copper isnt too fermentation and yeast friendly and as its in brass???

if the plumbers merchant only offers you brass check out the Stainless steel pipe fittings circa page 196? at bes.co.uk - the site is a basic list.....

Thanks guys
I've picked up a brass one from a plumbers suppliers, I was hoping I could get a plastic one, but no joy. Is it worth boiling it first to make the brass inert or is it best to avoid using it altogether. What is the problem with brass and yeast.
