Finally finished my keg of belgium quad. Definitely brewing that again.
And then onto some commercial stuff namely -
campervan brut ipa (very, very drinkable! So smooth)
Campervan mango blast
Wasted Degrees Rye Ipa (the name comes from the brewers going into the brewing trade)
Brewdog Mr President. (Good standby)
Mrs Prog99 is helping, I'm not that much of a pisshead!
Anyone a recipe for the brewdog Mr

Mr President !! Does taste rather good, I’ve a copy of all brewdog recipes think they are on there website. This one seems to be missing though !(

Right, well last night as I was awaiting for my lad to finish work, free lift home and all that... I popped into Weather spoons around the corner from his place, for a Porter, see photo below.

Now, a year ago I'd have called this a very nice beer, and for only £1.99 it was sensibly priced. But because I have now gone All Grain home brewing, my expectation of purchased beer has moved up a notch. I have to say it was a disappointing beer. It was watery, there was no mouthfeel.

I reckon I am now doomed to a life of brewing my own grog. (can that be a bad thing?)

In brewdog mancs having already had a few premium beers on the train up here. Here until Friday but can't do 3 brewdogs in a row. Have to visit the Nicholson's here... Be rude not to

Couple of pints of Marston's Old Empire IPA - tastes reasonable, full mouthfeel for its 5.7% sock rockin' ABV, but quite an understated drink for an IPA, I expected more flavour.

Followed by a sample of what's becoming my house ale - a twist on a GH Brown Ale that is bittered with American hops and flavoured with Challenger, yeast is MJ36 but you wouldn't know it. Easy to make, easy to drink.

It was actually last night but I wouldn't have been capable of typing this!

Had a great night at the Tap & Kitchen in Oundle, Northamptonshire, which is attached to the Nene Valley Brewery. They have about 15 beers on, ranging from pale ales to stouts. I started last night with a couple of pints of 'Bump n' Grind', which was a coffee pale ale. It was really good. More like a lager, but with a very subtle hit of coffee a minute or so after you'd swallowed it. I then moved on to 'Hop Stash', which as the name suggests, is a light, hoppy beer which had me hooked for the rest of the night. Lovely pint.

I've been there before and my favourite is 'Big Bang Theory', but unfortuantely, that was off.

If anyone is ever in the area, I'd highly recommend it. Really nice atmosphere, excellent food and a great selection of beer. Nice in the summer too, as there are tables outside right next to the river.

Didn't get to Nicholson's at least not yet.. stuck in the paramount with a punk IPA and bengali waiting for my pizza. Oh **** it's valentine's Day and the place is rammed.

4 litres of Sainsburys cider because I want to try the last survivors of the Hombrewstromo with my mates and I know I'll cram them down without tasting them on my own.

You are unlucky...I haven't got any mates....

Oh, that is so not true!

Only the other day I saw someone defending you on the Forum!

I can't remember which Thread it was but someone (I've blocked him now) said that you couldn't "brew sh!t" (his words not mine) and a Member (obviously a friend of yours) defended you by saying "Yes he can! In fact Clint is famous for it!"
