St Peters sounds interesting?

It is indeed! Most of it has gone now seeing as it was my first ever home brew, but great beer once it's left for a few weeks.

Bought a bottle of the commercial version, which wasn't as good as I expected if I'm completely honest. It's also nowhere near the kit version, but the kit version is brilliant for a strong IPA - mine came out at around 6%. Well worth a try!

A few home brews and this, just back from Aladdin at the SECC
Well needed

Love the glass mate! I'm planning a curry for tonight... (again!) but seem to be full of cold this morning so some extra chilli to get my nose running and along with some admirals reserve maybe a whisky or three to kill it off. What a plan!! I amaze myself sometimes!!

Cheers

Had been out on Tuesday night at the Taphouse sampling craft ale's and asked did they sell the glasses.Of course they don't but the young barman kindly gave me one of their Brewdog glasses as we were such good customers tasting nearly every craft beer in the bar....🍺

I bought Session IPAs by Flying Dog and Vocation breweries at Tesco this afternoon. Haven't decided whether to have them tonight or save them for Christmas night when I have a replacement for my Spiegelau IPA glass (a Brewdog Jackhammer branded one that SWMBO got me as a stocking filler)

+1 - on the rare occasion I catch a bug I blast it with spices/peppers and alcohol. Even if that doesn't fix it I don't care anymore!

Affligem tonight. Strong, blonde, belgian. ( the way I like my women).

I have 4 affligem glasses 'gratis' (free) from a previous trip to Belgium.

it's a tidy beer :thumb:

just finished a 75cl bottle of brigand which I have to say is still pretty darn good.

Full assault on my cold....andrex in the fridge ring of fire massala made...pumpkin ale quaffed..bottled back up brought in from moon base alpha (my shed).

GET SOME!

cheers

Bottle of Roses Are Brett from To Øl. Sour rasberries. Very drinkable :)

... plus a bottle of stout my own brew: a stout with chocolate (cacao nibs), vanilla and a touch of ancho chilli. Quite happy with the outcome :)

I think Iil heaven might be my favourite IPA at the moment. Total juice hop bomb. And you can't go wrong with the 8 ball.

Obvs mixed in with some of my own brews. Simary Roscoe and my liberty bell pale.
