After a rather enjoyable lunch followed by a matinee at the theatre I am now back home with a pint of Heavy. This is coming along nicely good head retention, light carbonation and good malty flavour.

£4.50 a pint so about 10p more than in the city centre which was worth the fact it has its own carpark!

Pick up a twin down draught carb'ed V8 6.8l Chevy and cruise into the sunset

But the real reason for logging in is
Drink!

A blended cask, bottled with a little priming invert sugar. From brews made a year ago.
Not brilliant, but not bad in any way. As good as most beers (of mine!).
I did, prior to this, try opening 3x pale ale quart bottles from '21 from the freezing garage.
Every one a yeasty, trubby gusher.
So I resealed them (remember I use century-old screw-in stopper type Bulmers' cider bottles) and then put them back in the garage.

Next up was this McGuigan Gold label chardonnay.
It said citrus,
I got pineapple!
Had with Poulet sauce Maroc.
ie chicken in orange juice, with perhaps slightly too much garlic!
