Merry Friday everyone!

Starting with my light ale, bottled at the end of November last year, tried a few over Xmas and it had a very slightly harsh hoppiness to it. I used Nectaron hop oil in each bottle from this batch to 'dry hop' and maybe overdid it a little.

It's mellowed out wonderfully now though, very crisp, full bodied and lots of vaguely fruity notes.

I might have a cup of tea and celebrate just having had 4 hours sleep off the night shift..with another to go.
Yafxxxinhoo!
I've been here lol
The looks when I'm trying to buy a 6 pack at 745am are easily dismissed when you're coming off the 12 hour night shifts 4 days in a row

In the Lych Gates Wolverhampton with a Lymestone Brewery Heart of Stone from you guessed Stone (Staffordshire) Nice!View attachment 109312

I was at Lymestone Brewery last week for a tour/evenings drinking. The owner is a cracking guy.

Gave a great tour and all the time in the world to talk when I spoke to him after. Clearly passionate about his beer!

Even got me a ladder to stick my nose over the top of one of the tanks when I asked if they were still open fermenting.

Well worth a visit if you get the chance.
