This is how good kits have become, ok you have to add dme may be a dry hop, but when you brew outside they are worth doing over winter View attachment 108758
I have a soft spot for Simply kits (although my standard modification is to mash a couple of kilos of base malt and give it a quick fifteen minute boil) this can be done on a stove under an extractor fan.

Looks cracking Rod. Been a while since I've tried a kit beer but might try dabbling again. What's your advice to get the best out of these Simply kits?
Use Dme instead of sugar, i do the kit and with 1kg of DME and 250grm of soft brown sugar and swap the yeast for midland, or just use 1.5kg of DME
