Thought I was being clever, at the supermarket earlier. Buy beers from reputable sources. Now these are not bad beers, let's get that clear. But are they worth the money? Very debatable. The stout is mine.

They are decent beers if you haven’t had a very good beer but I think once you try them they become (I’ve had to pause to find the correct term) a bit run of the mill trying too hard type of beers. I gave up buying them a while ago for that reason. Same old same as.

And on a further note, I'd love to know why Tesco stopped selling Sierra Nevada Pale Ale. Easily the best beer on the shelf and now gone. You can get the can variety in sainsburys but it's not the same beer.

We are literally talking about one of the original world class beers, the beer that started a revolution and is head and shoulders above every other pale ale in THE WORLD...and Tesco didn't think they should keep selling it.

Go figure?

Been out tonight and had a few Budvars.
Hardly ever drink lager but make an exception for the Czech lagers. In truth, forgot how much I enjoyed one. I’m now inevitably sat reading about decoction mashes and 90 day lagering and planning yet another new brew…

Bruh, I think you nailed it. Was the reason I stopped buying them a while ago. Only bought them today out of boredom. Wish I never bothered.
Same here. Tank Petrol is OK but Ultra Phase tastes like orange juice (to me, anyway). Dare I say it, Brewdog Hazy Jane is my go-to NEIPA these days, considerably cheaper as well.
