The storm was that bad here with me that the camper was lurching forward in the morning and rocking side to side in the afternoon. I dread to think what it would have been like to be out in it today. I assume the storm went no where near you then ?
I’m pissed off tbh because the met office made out it was going to be armageddon, decided to go the long way round via the A38 and the drive was hell, 4hrs for what should be a 2hr drive and not for the wind, fing road works and accidents. The wind was well, windy nothing more. 🤬

My van is damaged I need to go down in the morning to put a panel back on. The mate's van the roof came clean of it. Nightmare
That happened my mums van a few years ago and the same van was being used for a house build brown my road had the roof off the same night. It’s a case of the wind gets in a crack in the roof panel and keeps working away untill it’s ripped off.
What came off yours ? Side panel ?
My camper was proper rocking and lurching I thought it was going over at one stage

Sierra Nevada tonight. Cascade loveliness…

It was as Armageddon here mate. I’m 17 years in this house and haven’t had winds like it. It was sustained 80 mph with gusts of 110mph for a good few hours. The damage has been terrible all over Ireland and we’re without power from 2pm and might not see it repaired for a day or so. I’ve most of my fences down at the back of the house. Tiles off the roof and panels off the garage roof that I haven’t even looked at yet. Sky dish came off the house Ariel’s gone garden lights out the front just disappeared. Trees down both directions on the road. Been an interesting day
