It sure does, that first few sips the chocolate is up front but then the cherry comes into play - astonishing beer.

First up is the porter.. Initial taste and this really good. Will let it warm but initial tastes are smokey and chocolate

Just got home from homebrew club and having a pint of my Brut IPA. This beer has come on remarkably since I last tried it. I didn’t rate it then but it’s actually quite good now.

Home alone again as I have been the last few nights but I decided to have one of the last 2 bottles of my imperial stout and a redbreast 12 along with a pizza from my first poolish dough. Looking forward to this.

It’s surprisingly warm so decided to take a break from my walk with a pint of Amstel. While a fairly bog standard larger on a warm day it’s just right.

Quickly rebranding the last crate of my Free Palestine Bitter to something closer to home. I'll give you a full report on my Toolmaker Best when I've had a glass or two. Bet it tastes quite similar, though.

I like Amstel. It;s made by Heineken, but is drier. I like the flavour of Heineken, too, but it has a residual sweetness that spoils it.
