Couple of ESBs whilst cooking dinner for parents and in-laws. Chicken wrapped in Parma Ham stuffed with Stilton, baby taters, cabbage and leek, asparagus, and a creamy garlic sauce.

Didn't get a chance to post this yesterday, very fine Abbot Ale clone kindly sent me by @Twostage.
Its a beer I know well and this is an excellent copy. Deep rich maltiness and fruit character, crisp bitterness and foamy head that lasted right down the glass.

I bought a L&G case just before Christmas and didn't get through much in December. I then did dry Jan. Meanwhile it appears the wife drank all the IPL. Luckily she doesn't like darker beers so I've still got a handful of Spectres and the Black Lager .

Dinner was fairly successful (but would not use Stilton as stuffing again).

Has some nice beers, a beautiful Riesling, and a slightly ropey Sauv Blanc, and finishing on a Fullers Vintage 2023
