I’m having roast duck so it has to be Bordeaux (well Burgundy or Rhone, Rioja okay a lot of red wines would go nicely with duck). This is a nice reasonably priced wine, very rich, a little heavy and honestly far too easy to drink for a 15% wine.

Nice foamy head and crystal clear this is well brewed, it's a new style for me
but gets the thumbs up as does the excellent packaging !

Mo Chara Lager, from Dundalk. One of my mates missus comes from there and there’s a family connection. It’s really good, crisp, dry and packs a bit of heft to the malt backbone.
