Well I've been down the allotment busting a gut then home and done some more of my sons bedroom renovation. Shower and just cracked a can of Tribute when Mrs Clint informs me the old dog Boo isn't well and needs to go to the vet. So here I'm sat. It's not looking good.

I'm sure it was OK. I'm from the generation where 'use by' was judged by your nose.

Anyone else remember scraping the mold off the top of jam ?

Still do.
Then with lid off, CAUTIOUSLY microwave until boiling a bit, then carefully replace boiling water sterilised lid.
That kills the furry monsters.

I always go by ABV.
But with a Porter present, I might have that last.

Glad to hear it. Our Lab is 13 now (human years) and is even greyer round the muzzle than me. I reckon her next visit to the vet is going to be a one way trip.
