Nice Chimay patersbier 4.8%
That’s even worse! I gained a shade over $20 on a $77 investment over 5 days. A very respectable return but at London prices it’s more like a couple of pints!4 pints is a fortune these days! Seven quid a pint down London way!
I only had a couple tonightSpecial guide to how many pints you had down the pub…

1.037. It was a little too bitter. I think the hops they used in the past were not of the consistency of today. I’m about to make a version 2. I tested it in my father in law whose 87 and from buttonwood and he said it’s taste feel etc was similar. I used to drink it in the 80s before the brewery closedBurtonwood dark mild brewed from an old recipe
Thanks TETB! It is nice but I prefer my regular bitter made with goldings and fuggles. This is one I brewed using hops I won in a competition and as I had no recipes that use Admiral or Phoenix I thought I’d try them in a bitter. You brew a fine looking pint, @H
