I’ve had a couple of small glasses. The whisky is better than I expected and the honey flavour works quite well. I’d still prefer my beloved Talisker Skye but this is a nice, and unexpected, reward for a couple of hours work.

We got some of this at a Christmas market. It's quite nice. My preference is the rum version

It's a nice evening so I'm having a wee strum in the garden (not a euphimism), along with a glass of this beer which my better half picked up in a supermarket this afternoon...

A slightly hazy IPA which to my palate is sweet and tastes of tropical fruit, mango I think.

Anyway, quite pleasant and suits a warm evening.

This one is Guinness. My first observation is that this is a short measure! Other than that they look quite similar, mine might have a slightly better head. The Guinness is not as smooth and is more acidic/sour but both are nice. My wife prefers mine so on this occasion I think she has good judgement.

That’s a shame. It’s been a bit overcast most of the day but brightening up now for the weekend

A Farmhouse Wheat pale ale showcasing Callista hops and Lallemand Farmhouse yeast.
Estery, but otherwise not to my liking.
