This is good but maybe Hobsons should understand that the usual instructions relating to a bottle conditioned beer should not be in microscopic print as these days the average bitter drinker is not young!

Bass or Bass here, 20p cheaper if you order in Welsh.

Looks familiar - Dyffryn arms, Pontfain? Haven't been there in years. We ( our Morris team) used to send one member in first to buy a pint and when it was sh** we'd all go in and buy bottled cider instead . Fun times

Post-golf Bloody Mary. That’s the trip over for another year 😪

"A wee straw."?
Most gentleman of 70 would say that as a euphemism for a catheter.
If the output looked anything like your Bloody Mary then 'one has problems down there'!

Cask comparison continued:
Switched back to original serving glasses and the taste reverts back to slightly less hoppily bitter and even (SWMBOd tasting comment) a more rounded fuller flavour.
So it's full marks to the Stella glass.
So much so that SWMBOd stole it and drank a whole glass of MY brewed beer.
That is a first folks!

Talking of wines @Chippy_Tea ,
After stealing my beer, we had this with Chalk stream trout (oven baked by SWMBOd).

Beaujolais blanc, aka Chardonnay.
Both fantastic.
Unfortunately my Majestic no longer have any left.
Someone must have drunk it all, can't think who. 😏
Chalk stream trout.....out of season by now! Who caught that?
