We're starting today with one of a few beers we've been sent by the lovely
@DocAnna
This one is her 'Wee Bit O'Weather' Scottish Lager, and we've enjoyed this one in the garden, being careful to keep it out of the bright sun as much as possible of course.
In appearance it's a very clear, light golden colour with a head that dissipated quite quickly - fully expected with a lager though.
On opening the can I got the malty aroma straight away, followed by some lovely florals as it hit the glass.
The flavour backed up the aroma and was nice and malty, which was beautifully combined with the floral hoppiness.
Mouthfeel was light-medium I would say - the carbonation appeared as a persistent, steady stream, and stayed until the final sip.
We thought the flavours melded together perfectly - another very good lager.
I do love a malty lager and this didn't disappoint in any way. Thank you Anna.
