Rye IPA. I think I might be getting toward the bottom of this keg now.

M&S Coronation Ale from Elgoods Brewery. 75cl. 5%. I am rather ambivalent about all the upcoming hullabaloo, but this isn't the beer to get anyone excited about much at all. All British ingredients, natch, but I fear the sovereign hops were chosen more for the back label marketing than the flavour. It is a decent enough beer, but I bet we all could find a better pint on the day.

The mixed bitter is nice. Don't think I will use Styrian goldings again they are too spicy for me.

This should link to the OG recipe from the brewery. It states 45% both Pale & Pilsner malt + 10% Dextrine. Highland use Saphir on the hotside and Citra / Mosaic dry hop. You could do something similar with a noble hop hotside then whatever West Coast hops coldside? I've used Strata several times and I like it, goes well with Southern Hemisphere hops or the usual Citra / Mosaic. It seems completely open to interpretation.
I might give something similar to this a go tomorrow. I have a yeast cake of Harvest ready. I need to go look at what hops I have.

West coast pilsner, cold IPA must be very similar
All the cold IPA's I have had are basically west coast IPA with new world hops. So bitter and hoppy with a neutral yeast. It's just a WCIPA with Citra/mosaic basically.

Now west coast pilsner is kind of like a Italian pilsner with fruity hops. It's not as in your face hoppy but more nuanced and lower bitterness, maybe like a helles base with fruity dry hops. It's very refreshing and drinkable.

Are they similar to the New Zealand Pils ?

Selection of stuff I've found near our holiday home near Malaga. Gonna try a trip to Trinidad Brewpub in Alhaurin el Grande later today- fingers X"d for some nice, fresh beers!! The Mahou and San Miguel are ok, but the hop flavour seems a bit "synthetic" to me....
