Mosaic and Citra Verdant IPA, 6 weeks kegged and well conditioned though still a little haze.
Just right to go with a prawn curry !

Moving on from bitter now. This one is a nice Pale Ale (the one with hops in the keg).

Back home after two glorious weeks on Anna Maria Island. Consoling myself with my own American Amber. It’s actually not a long way off Sailfish or Fat Tyre (I drank a lot of both while away). Could be a bit clearer, hopefully a couple of pours will help sort that out.

IPA next. The regular pale ale I keg hopped is starting to challenge the IPA now for hoppiness and freshness. That keg hopping experiment is looking more and more interesting.

Burning Sky Belgian IPA, very subtle on the Belgian as it fairly fruity with the newer German hops. Nice beer

Second try of flavoured wheat beer, this time the tangerine. It's there, but a tad under-powered. I thought the coriander was spot-on, but this could have done with another 50%, I think. Still a pleasant drink that I will hopefully make better, soon. At this time of year, the appeal of a beer like with such a short turnaround to drinkability is considerable! (brewed on 18/7)

Just back from the pub with my youngest. A few Red Stripes went down very well and retuned home to search in the bottle fridge for the next drink - 1 bottle of unlabelled home brew from God knows when - opened and poured, smells lovely and tastes great. Just no idea what it is! Like a fruity landlord so I need to consult my brew diary to see what it is - but it has aged very well, shame it's just a lonely bottle.

Busy day in the garden, smell of barbies in the air, looks like summer is not far off. A long neck of IPA, followed by another taste of my Baltic porter. Big difference between the two, the IPA, refreshingly bitter, to a velvety, sweetish, strong Baltic Porter.

On a totally of piste post, this is the meal I got. Chicken Gizzard, lardons served with salad. Be happy if I got in a restaurant in Ireland.
Standard of food leaves every other country in the shade.
