I’m cooking a cottage pie for the grand-kids and treating myself to a Sharps Atlantic Ale.

@samale bretted Belgian
Very nice carbonation and a nice finger of head when poured. Lovely and clear and a nice Belgian aroma with some lemon and spice and a hint of sweetness
Taste is the same citrus and a bit of funk and very dry on the palate . The Brett is fairly restrained and a bit more carbonation might have added to the beer but it’s very good as it is.
As it warms up the Brett comes through a bit more and it’s more clove and banana.
Very good beer and cleansing the palette for a few tropical stouts that are warming up as this gets drunk

My last quart bottle of:
Old hop bitter.
A goodbye to our (homebrew) past.
Those who have been paying attention will know that this was made by bittering with..................... 36 year old hops (EKG).
That's bought in 1985.
They were sealed in a bag (ie Oxygen protected)!
Hence the 'Old Hop' .
I did post a question about using them and someone on here said "go for it", and I'm glad I did. Thanks for that.
First Gold were added later for some hop flavour and aroma, as the old'uns had none.
Crystal clear (Notty yeast) and golden brown due to 15% light crystal.
From when I was still brewing on the stove with large saucepans.
So farewell to the past in a number of ways.
