Back on the Brooklyn lager

I was there a couple of weeks ago. I won't be back. Guy working behind the bar didn't even know how to pour a pint (and it's possible he is the bar manager). Girl working was one of the most disinterested looking person I have ever seen. They had about 12 to 15 taps. 5 were their core range, a nice coffee stout, a horrible imp stout, a red ale and the rest were lagers.

My GF was poured the wrong drink. She was then given a generic white wine that tasted like it was diluted. I didn't even finish the imp, it was shyte. The sort of beer, if you made it at home, you'd be disappointed with it.
That's not good ffs

A cycle to beerriff using spare calories to get there and powered by alcohol to get home. At some point I'll have to go leccy but spot my bike in the background 😉

So beerriff easy lover, best session IPA I've had at 4.2%, vault city key lime pie which was also very impressive, love what vault are doing at the moment and an old favourite from the Ypres area.

Checking out this Chinook and Cascade White IPA I kegged a week ago while
preparing to brew a New Zealand Pilsener earlier this afternoon.
Nice contrast between dank pine bitterness from Chinook and floral citrus from Cascade.
After some deliberation, Nelson Sauvin and Riwaka in the Kiwi Pils.
Boil finished, just waiting to do the hopstand - smells fantastic !

What were the prices like Phil ?
The coffee stout was a fiver. As was the half pint of rubbish imp stout. Pint of pale ale was a fiver too, although I seriously doubt that is what we were given. It tasted heavily of vanilla and there was a butterscotch lager on tap.

That's not good ffs
Nope, it isn't. It was the Saturday night before Halloween ffs. In Derry! And they have someone working that hasn't got a clue. I thought it was his first time working in a bar EVER! Then my GF's brother in-law told me he thinks he's the manager 🤦‍♂️
